Salt Lake County will be hosting a ribbon cutting on the trails this Thursday, August 31st at 2:00 pm. The event will take place at the new bridges over Butterfield Creek about a half mile up from the canyon gate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These new trails connect to the Yellow Fork trail system and make up phase I of a new system of trails in Butterfield Canyon. The first phase sits on a mix of Rio Tinto, BLM, and County property.
